A LITTLE COLD WON'T SLOW HIM DOWN...

Avee slept well last night and was great all morning. But I think he is getting an ear infection. He keeps grabbing his right ear and doesn't want to lay on that side to nurse. He is not crying but is a little lethargic this afternoon. I gave him a half dose of Motrin so he would nurse. He is also starting to cough a little.

On a whole another note, last night Avee was sitting in Alex's lap on the floor in front of his busy box and he pulled himself into a standing position. And then this morning he creeped over to the busy box and pulled himself into a kneeling position to play!

AVRUMS FIRST RUNNY NOSE

On Thursday night Avee started to breath a little heavy. By nite nite time he was congested. He woke up every hour that night. Mama was so tired. Friday he was miserable. He struggled to breath. Anna Marie brought over saline drops and I pulled out a very old humidifier. He took three naps at 1.5 to 2.0 hours each. I was floored. He slept better Friday night.


This is so difficult. I was not prepared for how helpless I would feel when he is sick. When I started caring for Andrew he was old enough to blow his nose. This is a whole new ball game.

AVRUMS LEARNED TO SIT-UP!

Avrum learned how to sit up all by himself today. No support he was there for like ten minutes just playing. He really wore himself out too cause he is taking a great nap! He was so happy to be able to do it all by himself. He is also trying to get into the sitting position from his tummy. He can do it with a little help but is really close to doing that all by himself!

Mommy's little Weed!
Avrum is 26.5 Inches and 15lbs. 13ozs.
He is up on all fours (hands & knees and hands & feet) so funny.
He finally rolled over from his back to tummy four times today. He had only done it once before a few weeks ago.'
I swear he waved bye bye to Yaya today and said "HI." to Dada.

Avrum's Baptism was beautiful. There were no tears just a little water... pee pee that is... hee hee.

RASPBERRIES

Avrum has always been able to make cute little silent raspberry bubbles but now he can make raspberry lips, big bubbles everywhere and spit as he does it! He is loving this new talent.

ON ALL FOURS!

Avrum got up on all fours tonight at Mandy Aunties house! It was very exciting. He even stayed up for a good 30+ seconds. He continued to practice for like 5-8 minutes. He even tried to sway forward and back when he was up! Very very exciting stuff! He is one step closer to crawling and Mama never being able to look away for a fraction of a second again!

Avrum's Five Month Check-up

Avrum is five months old already. I cannot believe time is going by so fast. it seems that there is really only 30 seconds in a minute these days.


At 25.75 inches and 15 lbs on the dot he is doing well. He needs to eat more. We started him on Homemade Organic Baby Food. His first was Broccoli! He loved it. He likes Mamas Carrots but, is not a fan of Sweet Peas just yet. Mama is cooking away and freezing what I can so Dada and Andrew can help with ease. We were only feeding him once a day before bath time at night but Dr. Reda says to increase that to 2 to three times a day because he is SOOOOO.... Active!! We introduced the trainer sippy cup from Born Free (no toxins) and he likes to play with it but has not quite got the hang of it but, he loves to put it in his mouth. Today mommy has to go buy a Highchair because the Bumbo just is not working anymore. He is too strong.


Today he rolled over from his back to this tummy for the first time!! Yea Avee! We are so proud!
