Traveling to Colorado

We headed to Colorado with Mama, Dada, Andrew, Sam (a very good friend of Andrew's) and Avee! Avrum had such a good time with the boys. The big boys made the drives wonderful!

Avee's Amazing Forking

Okay so Avrum completely surprised me today. I have tried to show him how to use a fork and spoon for months. I try to remember to give them to him with his meals even if it is to fling food onto the wall or chuck them at us or the poor doggies when he is "All Done." Today he picked up his fork at snack time and started eating with it. It was so cute he would stab a banana and then it would fall off right when he would get it up to his mouth... But he made it work. Mama was so happy for him that he developed such a tricky skill today!! Yea Avee.

Avee was so excited to meet Pooh Bear. He was also a little scared as his Pooh Bear is only 8" tall and this one was "SO BIG!"

Avee was not scared at all, he walked all the way across the rope bridge without mama and only look back once! When he got to the other side he just kept going! ahaha.

We had to stop and play with every trash can at Disney. Mama used a lot of anti-bacterial.

Dinosours!

Avee and Mama went to the Discovery Center today. We had fun. We loved playing with the Dinos and Weather Stations. He had so much fun he was dead asleep 2 minutes into the 10 minute car ride home. I was very excited, I took advantage of his deep sleep and trimmed all his finger and toe nails before getting him into bed! Yes! He used to let me do it and would watch every carefully. Now it is like he thinks I am taking a part of him that he needs or something and won't sit still. He is not afraid just doesn't like to have them trimmed. He has so much to say these days. It is so cute. I am really looking forward to knowing what it is he is trying to say... hahaha. Right now it is pretty much all gibberish. He is practicing the th and s sounds.

Happy Mothers Day

I had a wonderful Mother's Day. Boopy Doo woke me up with an "Aaaee." Dada and Andrew brought me breakfast in bed and a bouquet of flowers. It also happened to be Alex and I eight year dating anniversary, so it was extra special. Then Dada, Mama, Avee and Grandma went to Disneyland! Mama's favorite place and Avee's first visit. It was great. We stayed all day. Avrum's first ride was Pinnocio with Dada, then Snow White with Grandma and then Dumbo with Mama. We also went on Pirates, Jungle Crusie, Small World and Haunted House. THe Adults took turns going Big Thunder, Splash Mountain and Space Mountain. Then we watched the fireworks and went home! So much fun!

More Zoo Fun

Avrum's Favorite Animals were the Hippos and Elephants. The Monkeys were pretty funny too. Avee was wiped out!

San Diego Zoo

Some of my favorite memories are of my family going to the San Diego Zoo, Sea World and Balboa Park. So when Andrew's H2O team had a tournament in San Diego I was very excited! Andrews team did well. They came in 13th out of 32 of the best teams in his ranking and age group in Southern California. GO NEWPORT!!

We arrived on Friday morning and went to the Zoo. Then Andrew had a game that night. Saturday we had three games but we squeezed in a trip to Balboa Park again to see the Body Worlds Exhibit. Very Cool, Curious and Creepy. Sunday we had two more games and they won!!Yea. It was a great trip.
